Let me tell you firsthand; I'm more of a PC gamer than console gamer. But Horizon Zero Dawn gets my full respect of how a third person game should have been; rich refreshing story, great combat, great role-playing elements and countless hours of attention to details that the team contributed to this game. It simply raised the benchmark of that genre.
