I lost my hearing rather suddenly due to Meneire's Disease at the age of 58. In a word, the experience was devastating. Books like Life After Deaf are amazing. Holston tells of his experiences with insight and humor. I loved it and did not put it down until I was finished reading it. Thank you, Noel Holston.
