Mary Poppins Returns did a fantastic job. As a strong lover of the original film, I looked forward to this new creation but also hoped it's makers would do it well. And they certainly did! Mary Poppins Returns filled itself with sweet reminders and reminisces of the original movie. However, at the same time it held it's own wit, engaging plot, unforgettable songs, and strong messages. I couldn't have asked for a better sequel. You know the movie is good when you leave the theater humming, wanting to click your heels together, and feeling like your about to float off into the sky on the string of a balloon.
