Stephen Bennett

I admire Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Paterson and enjoyed them in other films. Not this dreary uninspiring tale towards madness. I left an hour or so into the depressing events portrayed that I believe would only get worse. I wonder what drew them to this unpleasant story and script.

Dumb script, interesting super human redesign concept. Stiff acting, poor special effects. Not worth a sequel even if ending set one up.

Viola Davis is amazing in this powerful role. Should be an Oscar nomination.

Innovative throwback to my own teen years of late 50's with an excellent Twilight Zone vibe. Good story presentation, suspenseful, with a gradual layering of Si Fi themes. Well acted, and unusual filming technique that draws you into the world being built.
