Horror movies set a real low bar, but man does this one somehow set it lower. They spent so much money on production/effects, but let a braindead chimpanzee on meth write it for free. The characters in this movie are so unbelievably stupid it just ruins it all. They just sit there and watch the most horrific demonic things happen and do absolutely nothing about it. The one time someone does fight back? They attack the demon once and stand there for 30 seconds waiting for it to respond. If you have a thing for gore, I guess this movie is great. But the plot and character actions make this the single worst movie I've seen in my life. Good god I think this movie has officially made me quit the horror genre. The writers in horror movies actually get paid somehow. I don't get it. How did this get good reviews. I need a therapist now, not because it was scary. But because there are people on this planet that watched that and thought it wasn't absolute utter garbage. At least now whenever I'm feeling down in life, I'll be happy knowing I'll never be as stupid as the characters or writers for this movie.
