My son and I loved the episodes. We looked forward to watching it together each night. We enjoyed talking about the plots, the characters and the story lines. We became quite enamored with the main characters and their relationships with each other. We would rate this series with full five stars if it wasn't for one thing, the end. The last episode was so hyped up if you watch all the episodes. The viewer is obviously awaiting an epic ending, only to find themselves left hungry for something more. Perhaps even disappointed and wondering why it would be written with such a somber, and melancholy tone? (Spoiler Alert.) It also didn't make sense that Arthur would die at the foot of Avalon, when we all are well aware that the waters of Avalon can bring the dead back to life.
