Pretty disappointed with how much they've deviated from "The Seldon Plan", having characters say and do things they never would in the books to service generic action beats that were ALSO not in the books, but that you'd see on any other generic SyFy offering, with a slightly grander budget.
Meanwhile the show's creative team manages to get their ya-yas off preaching to us about "math diversity" and climate change while cramming in some kind of parable about US mideast policy after 9/11, and of course, none of those things were in the books, either.
Also, they can't resist having Diverse Female Character be the only one who can see the fatal flaw in Dr. Patriarchy's calculations. They're not telling Asimov's story, they're telling their own, and slapping "Foundation" on it for whatever scant name recognition it still has.
Avoid, if you can.
