Disturbingly brilliant film that is not for the mainstream movie goer. I kept wanting something good to arise from this journey of oppression. Social rebellion is hard to watch but can be very real and has dire consequences. Hopefully people take this film as just a look at mental illness and societies inequity as opposed to the need to revolt.After all it is s just a movie.

Fantastic. Good period piece with superlative acting throughout. The comedy routines are concise and very funny. NOT FOR ALL AGES. I had seen a few episodes of Season 1 and wasn't sure if it was for me. Flash forward to the here and now- recovering from surgery I just finished a two season binge. REALLY BUMMED OUT when I realized that year 3 is not out yet. Interesting characters that evolved make this show very compelling. Joel , in particular, is very complex. Hopefully, the future will keep us interested. The easy way out is for him to get Midge back somehow and become her manager. That woukd be disappointing.
