Team Stolen

Will just come out and say it I don’t think anything can top the 2nd film. This one while it had some funny moments and deaths, really kind of went weird in the final act. (Spoiler alert) I appreciate the scene of sienna telling off the podcast girl as it is something often forgotten in regard to victims of murderers families. However toward the end it just felt needless cruel to sienna who had already had gone through hell in the last film to find the sword and courage to defeat Art the first time. The death of the brother just felt unjust as he was an essential part of the last film as well the kid asking her mom to wake up was just kind of uncalled for. The film just feels like it was trying to push the comedic character of Art while also trying too hard to push the cruelness in the finale with no real point. Sienna loses everything and everyone but her hands heal and Art escapes again. Just kinda underwhelming

Biggest issue I had with the film was the set design. For being a period time piece, the entirety of the witches house looked like it was just taken from an IKEA catalog. The twist at the end was nice change up in the story but the overall plot just felt forced, I understand what they were trying to do with the female empowerment angle which is a nice take to aim toward but this just didn’t seem to make much sense all in all. The ending felt way too rushed, the witch basically sacrificed herself for the greater good?
