Love the spiritual perspective of this film

awesome film to me tony could relate to suffering but not understand the point of it or root of it choosing a ego death and going through renewal many times without understanding the root of your suffering can make the ego death pointless because the ego is still attached no matter how much experience one can have it is hard to understand and eliminate suffering. even a longing for a connection or any type of experience is a longing to find ones self in the vast ocean and cosmos of chaos. And in those surreal landscapes where he's staring off into the distance you can see deep self reflections often combined and infused with deep emotions the drink in hand or cig paint their own state of mind in a way. in the silence of beautiful emptiness i imagine it can be like a dark abyss if you do not see the interconnected fullness in it or are feeling separated from the experience. i really enjoyed the film it was a tear jerker filled with joy laughter realism and sadness

great show enjoying it concepts and story thus far

Funny parts are in trailer dont know the rest of the actors could of been more italian de nero takes what would be a 2 star movie to a 3 wouldnt watch it again but its a decent film for when theres nothing else to watch on your list

great film pure poetry the ending was awesome loved every bit of the free falling nature of the character

all that's missing was gilbert Gottfried as the parrot other than that this was awesome

the movie was great the two main characters where great they really did a good just costume wise the time frame was perfect camera work was awesome I like how you gradually feel the change in people as they travel from east to south it was sad to see one of the characters sexuality displayed or hinted but I don't know if the man was or hinted to being or was gay bye straight or what ever in real life. as for people talking about a Hollywood gay agenda lmao that sounds like it stems from a Christian/catholic/protestant moral perspective or upbringing need I remind everyone who has a problem we are a nation of many religions and a lot of us have grown past making one are moral compass of are nation. So that use of hatred or lack of tolerance toward having a gay act in films is sickening but that's to be expected from a nation suffering from religious an political zealots who hate anything outside their normal understanding. Hollywood isn't a place for you if you have a problem with them doing this America is a diverse place with a great deal of freedom. However if this sexual scene plays to a view point that was never hinted or discussed an shames the actual persons legacy then that is grounds for a problem. but if you go to a movie an feel outraged that a act you don't like seeing happens first you should look at the rating of the film then think about the year we live in not the one you live in within your mind "the actual world". that being said brush up on film history it wasn't always easy to display what you see today on the screen an just like gay rights African American rights it was a fight for tv an film to show things

This movie is powerful because of its bond between man an dog at the end you get a sense that this is how it had to happen, it shows mildly but strong enough to pass the slow progress of trying to get a wild animal domesticated. its really a good story of how compassion means something even to a animal and how its strong enough to help a boy push through to survive
