Jeannie Dixon

Although I have only completed watching 7 episodes, I a finding Season 4 to be a disappointment. Very boring with long, drawn out scenes that do little to advance the story. Some of the casting is brilliant (Ed Speleers as Stephen Bonnet), but others are downright unwatchable (the boy cast to play young William, really not fair to the actor or the character). To be fair, I found the books to be draggy at this stage as well, but all the more reason to condense the boring parts and get on. Be warned: The TV series is starting to stray more and more from the original story line. Look for characters to rise from the dead, and for events to be out of sequence. I’m not gonna lie - it will be a chore to finish watching this season.
