I am a Ghost fan. I've been with the band since 2021 (way before the tiktok craze and madness of Ghost, I had to physically look up and learn who these people are since there was almost nothing on them, I did my homework and learned my history of the band and what all the songs meant). It's been 4 long years, and in those 4 years I've listened to every single album and garnered a distinguished taste. Singles, EPS, albums etc. I like what I like from Ghost, the older more harder tones and the spookier "satanic" vibes. Opus, infestissumam, and Meliora are my favorites. From there is when things get a bit shaky. Prequel isn't bad, I actually muched enjoy it. Impera I loved, even after the actual release. Skeleta might be, their weakest album yet. I know it just came out but listening to it over and over, this one isn't their best. Way too many happy songs and lighter rock tones, and they totally stepped aside from the whole satan devil worshiper gimmick, plus its super 80s inspired (not that there's anything wrong with that). The older fans agree online, and I agree with them as well. I see Ghost is moving into different territory, which is fine. But this album might not be for everyone, and for the younger newer fans, they loved it. To each it's own!
