Watched " Nazar Andazz " today. In fact, I stumbled upon this film while searching for some afternoon entertainment on Netflix. And went about seeing a beautiful film with a message to the viewers. Kumud Mishra has done a stupendous job of emoting a blind man. His mannerisms, twitches of the face, uplifting of eyebrows, horizontal movments of the face are all watchworthy. And are the hallmarks of a great actor ! Divya Dutta and Abhishek Bannerjee too compliment Mishra aptly. Although, the film will not be popular because there are no great stars to boost, no propaganda ( a la Karan Johar way ), no sex or violence as in every Netflix film / web series but an avid cinegoer should not miss this excellent, witty and emotional film. Cudos to the debutante director Vikrant Deshmukh, who surprised me with his work. Don't miss this.

Except for a childish humour, the film is worth a watch. The concept of independence of 15th August is visualised in a different form and satire on many issues thrown in between. Director has slipped to execute neatly. Actors have done really good job. Thanks story and script writers for not making this a melodrama.

I think, the film unnecessarily stretches too far. Instead of two and half hours, it should have been of one and half hours duration. Although, a nice web of relationship between an ailing mother and an aspiring dancer prevails, there is no great story matter to push it so long. The treatment given is of experimental plays, we saw long back in Chhabildas school. Cinematographer too uses technique, of Shadows and brightness, probably imitating V. K. Murthy of " Kagaz me phool ". All in all, two good actresses could not salvage this utterly boring film.
