This show is SO surprisingly good. Noah Centineo is a talented actor that brings it to top level entertainment! A newly recruited Lawyer for the CIA he starts his job knowing NOTHING about HOW to do that job and let’s just say chaos ensues. It’s funny and serious at the same time showing in detail the shark tank he’s tossed in with his co-workers, the spy ops and the Asset who he has to handle somehow to stop her from blowing the lid off of CIA’s critical secrets before it turns into an international scandal. All she wants is to go home, to Belarus but Owen (our smart hapless hero) gets lost in her manipulation by her and everyone else. He’s naive and full of gusto to navigate his role as the new guy and oh, not get killed by the Russian mob, or by the mole or by a plethora of others! It’s an spy thriller and a deeper study of character and being undone by crazy! You will laugh at this “office”! It pulls you in and leaves you breathless! Ends on a cliffhanger so when is Season 2 coming out? Love is floating around here too so I need to find out where that ends up! Loved this series! You will too! DC revealed!

I’ve been a complete fan of Tom Hiddleston as Loki. But this 6 episode series was a disappointment. A comic book is 2 dimensional and can have absurd writing and if this is what Disney was trying for they most assuredly succeeded. Loki’s wings were clipped right at the outset making him a hapless fool in the hands of an absurd autocratic bureaucracy that somehow had figured out time travel and golly who even knows how that occurred hmmmmm? Try Umbrella Academy for a compare and contrast for time travel and frankly the Umbrella folks hands down kicks the Loki writers to the way way back in a time travel story. The cartoon elements were uh stupid? The multiple Loki’s were let’s see, ridiculous? Alligator Loki? Really? Put Loki in a slender tie suit with a kick me sign on his back? Oh, variant I mean. Yuck. Then there is Sylvie, what a rotten haircut there and she only haplessly achieved Dr. Who cheesy acting status. By the finale all I saw was Loki as some patient psychiatrist with certainly no mischief and definitely no power. It was shallow and came off as a jerky comic book. I’m hoping S2 improves.

It has the classic idea of those fairy tales with terrifying monsters, the sword and sorcery and the hero of all these stories, or maybe the anti hero - the Witcher. Certainly nothing like GoT, it’s stands alone for its theme characters and content which are interesting to say the very very least! It’s quite sexy and fun in between the killing and monsters!
