If you're into YA books this is for you(or around the age which you'd read a YA). The show has a way of changing who you dislike and shifting the title of villain. I couldn't get past season 1 by all means even finish it so take my words with a grain no handful of salt.
Now I'm going to talk about whats bad first and good after
(indicated with ~):
~That being said it doesn't suit me as I believe it really doesn't appeal to me. As I mentioned All the characters are in some way dense and need wisdom juice. The acting is... mediocre to say the least. The world building needs so much more work (its like you're walking on lava with mere bits of rock floating)and the character even more so. The character OMG SOMEONE ARREST THE WRITERS. Say dystopian books are drowning in mediocre or rudimentary at best writing, in movies it is exactly the same. Stick this show in that category and IF YOU VALUE LOGIC IN ANYWAY DO STAY AWAY. Onto the production work and what not... its not original if you watched "The Game of Thrones" many of those elements have been used. The camera work is dry and just out of place or missing where its needed. GREATLY disappoints in scientific accuracy etc.
~I must say they had a idea and definitely ran with it. I of course would be at the age range targeted for this however with the talk of horrible actors there are a few maybe 2 or 3 actors that definitely play their role well in the 9 wonderful ep I watched. It started to get messy around ep 10 and so I dropped it there(I mean the elements that make up a good show), but you know what you're watching for season 1 I must say.
one word to describe this show: impeccable
