I wasn't sure about it at first because I had the cartoon in mind but once I opened myself up to this version, I liked it a lot. I love how they portrayed mulan's father and their relationship. It was just a really good movie and I felt the empowerment of being strong and keeping virtues that are held close to our hearts.
