Doom Eternal is a fast paced and attention drawing shooter that will put gamers into a mindset that very few games have been able to do in the past 10 years. The mindset of ACTUALLY PAYING ATTENTION TO THE GAME. With it's fluid and arena like combat system, players will be forced to learn very quickly that Doom is not another cover based shooter clone that most IPs have become. (If that happens to be the style of FPS you enjoy however, checkout the Wolfenstein series created by the same developer) Doom Eternal will have players testing their reaction time and hand eye coordination at every encounter, and will often leave players with a sense of gratification and accomplishment almost every time they are challenged by the unending hordes of Hell's forces. A game not for the faint of heart or easily distracted, Doom will truly test your ability at playing an FPS and will often have players realize that there is much more to combat than just point and shoot.
