What AGT has become is not worth my time to review it. Watch it if you’re looking for an “ after school special” with a lesson on social issues. It certainly isn’t entertainment.

Bridgerton turned out to be a mediocre soap opera. I enjoyed the diversity of the cast. It was very interesting to see actors from all over the world being cast in a sort of haphazard way. I didn’t think it would work at first, but I was wrong. This was the only part of the series that I enjoyed. The actors over played their parts and the connection between them never appeared. This series was never about a period piece in 1813 England but another lesson from Hollywood on social issues we are facing now. The producers tried unsuccessfully to tie the social issues women were facing in 1813 with the issues women are dealing with today. I will admit that there are similarities but the connection never really happens. This whole series was about women in today’s world going to a costume party and discovering who they are and that they can be whom ever they want to be. I got the message and I agree that it is an important one, but this is not a “ Period Piece”! It was confusing to try and follow the plot when I didn’t know where these characters were coming from. They just should have made an after school special and cut out the sex. Nothing made sense in this thing and I am sorry that I wasted my time watching it. The dialogue, mannerisms of the actors and a total disregard for the 19th century made this series a big old flop. You should be embarrassed creators of the show!

This show is boring and depressing. Life is tough and complex. Life is also satisfying and fun. The last thing I want to do is watch a tv program that goes on and on about people overwhelmed and worried about sad situations that we all face. It’s very hard to connect with the characters who continually wallow in misery. It takes way too long for the characters to deal with problems and come to a resolution. I don’t find human misery entertaining.

I really love DWTS. I’ve been a fan since S1 E1. I watched every episode right up until S18. Then I had to stop. I got so darn angry watching my favorite tv show succumbing to a slow death initiated by ABC’s poor decisions in an attempt to broaden their viewership. DWTS had a formula that worked and instead of leaving that alone while improvements with updated graphics and fleshing out the roles of the Stars and the Professionals would play during the season you tore apart the very foundation that made this show a mega hit. All of the dialogue is stilted, vapid , and staged.The relationship each couple developed with each other during the season used to be genuine and heartfelt. Now it’s full of corny jokes, fake enthusiasm and forced one liners about their fears of humiliation and doubt. I do believe that the Stars have genuine concerns on whether or not they’ll be able to learn and preform the dances but every statement that is spoken on the show has been rehearsed including the “ spontaneous “ reactions that were so heartwarming in the past. I’ve been watching this year but have to admit that I record every episode so I can fast forward right though everything Tyra Banks utters or does. She is just untastefull,!rude and sickening to watch. I sure hope you don’t have an unbreakable contract with her. Could you guys please try and produce a more honest and natural version of DWTS? I have nothing against progress and changing with the times , but when you do include good quality, taste and honest portrayals of all the participants of each season. DWTS was always a program that reflected the real personalities and the unique differences that are true of all people. The ease at which DWTS allowed people from all walks of life to compete with huge fluctuations in their dancing skills and also encouraged an atmosphere that was accepting and respectful was brilliant and so enjoyable to watch. Now it’s as if you don’t trust your DWTS participants to be respectful and accepting all on their own. They can’t let their true unique wonderful personalities shine because you’re afraid something might happen and ruin your program and your salaries. Sorry DWTS you are already doing that yourselves. You have to control every word and action on the show and that has made DWTS a poor example of quality tv. I am speaking for all the loyal true fans of DWTS, Go back to the basics and save your selves and us!

Adrien Brody, always good. Graphics are spectacular. My one complaint is the choppy plot. It’s a good series but I found myself struggling a bit to make a emotional connection with the characters. I found myself always trying to reconnect with the characters as they changed through the circumstances that they were experiencing. That in itself is not a bad thing, but to me it felt unorganized and confusing. Then I found myself begin to loose interest in the story and had to keep rewinding to go back over what I just saw. I still give this 4 stars as I appreciate the risk the writers took in coming up with a fresh , new direction to tell this story. I watched every episode and absolutely admired the effort that was evident in the script. Could be that the whole series is a bit more dark than what I gravitate to, but still a worthy series.

I love Rebel Wilson, but I did not enjoy watching the wonderful dogs being groomed in this way. I am very concerned about the die irritating the dogs skin (even though it was said to be safe) and the glue that was used to attach accessories. Also I have had dogs all my life and they absolutely hate to wear anything but a collar or a sweater. Last thing- 4 hours of grooming? When did they get to relieve themselves or were given water? One poor pouch was licking the bottom of the tub ! The artistry was impressive, but should not be inflicted on live animals. I’m disappointed that ABC aired this and would have enjoyed seeing “pouches” meeting their forever families or maybe seeing folks giving dogs in shelters some love and attention. I should have realized by now that it’s all about the almighty dollar and nothing to do with the dogs happiness. Did anyone see the dog who was the best groomed laughing and giggling cause they won? Shame on you ABC!

Watched S1 and 1/2 thru S2. Plot moves along at a good pace and the dialogue improved with each episode. The characters are maturing right along with what they are experiencing since the “apocalypse” happened. There are some new interesting avenues the plot is moving thru and I’d like to see a S3. I warmed up to the show and with each episode became more engaged with the story. I found it was fairly easy to relate to each character. I think the writers did a good job developing each character’s personality and I appreciate how smoothly and quickly they got that accomplished. It gave me more time to get involved with the events of the story which really made viewing it very satisfying. Nice job! Especially since I didn’t think there were really any other directions an “apocalypse” series could go. I don’t like to admit this but I wasn’t optimistic about this series having any new twists or an intriguing plot. I was wrong. Sure would like to see what the writers could come up with in future episodes! Nice job and that’s high praise coming from me!

This show is amazing!!! The humor is sharp, sarcastic, wry, funny and the dialogue quick, always on point! I just binge watched it and I loved it! Sooo disappointed that there isn’t a season 3. I am a really tough critic, and get bored pretty fast, but I can’t think of one thing that could have made this show better! Except for a season 3,4,5 etc! Please bring “ Party Down” back! The cast developed their characters so quickly and fleshed out their personalities that by the end of S1,E2 you just knew who everyone was! Great show, great writing, fantastic actors, and great producers! Good job everyone! Please do it again!

This show caught my interest at first but the more I watched the humor became cheap and insensitive to the folks going through these problems in real life. It does bring awareness to these issues though and that is good. I do think that people are in general are more intelligent than than the cheap humor most often portrayed on this show, so the good news is there is room for improvement. The show isn’t a complete dud and it will be interesting to see if the script in season 2 will be written with a more intelligent snap.
