I waited to make sure it wasn’t a fluke but I can say now that AEW is the real deal. As a lifelong wrestling fan some of the best programming on television was WcW Monday Nitro in its prime. AEW is that and more. Every week there is something new and fresh. During this pandemic even with no large crowds it is putting other shows to shame. Even my wife is enjoying it. Watch the Street Fighter 2 entrance and you’ll see what makes AEW special. I hope they bring back the old school wrestling games from N64 to next gen consoles they seem like the ones to do it. Gratitude Mr. Kahn!!!!

Honestly the movie is quite entertaining. I really enjoyed the stylized fight sequences and use of colors. The narration by Geoffrey Rush was great as well. The yang character may be a typical cookie cutter hero but I thoroughly enjoyed him all the same. I bet if it would have been based on a comic book critics would have been more positive. Movies are subjective I get it, but a movie also doesn’t have to be some realistic epic to be good or entertaining. If you watch movies for what they usually are which is fantasy like me you will enjoy this movie.
