The Zodiac killer was never caught and we never learned his identity, of course, the movie makes this obvious and it shows that we will most likely never know. To this very day, in 2019, we still don't know who was responsible for the killings known as the Zodiac Killings. I'm sorry you didn't find the film interesting because the killer wasn't identified but thats the mystery of the case. Again, we will most likely never know
