Manic plotting seemingly contradicting its own internal logic over and over. Mostly it’s just an exhausting series of action scenes, one after another, with no emotional build up or pay off. Characters live, then die, then live again, then die again, and at some point, the viewer simply gives up and just watches the special effects.
