Crystal cestari has a magical way of keeping her readers gripped and this book was no exception. I laughed, I cried, I screamed and thoroughly enjoyed the messy life of Amber Sand- a beautiful character who is imperfect, and that's exactly why her journey shaped by various crazy witchy incidents in her life, her love for Charlie, her envy of Kim, her selflessness and sympathy for the Chamberlain's- makes so much sense than your typical perfect protagonists who always know what to do. I liked the ending tons and am really excited for the third book!

What makes this show and Sabrina's story so deeply engrossing and spellbinding is her own goodness and resistance to evil and her love for her aunties and her mortal friends- the cunning Rosalind, the phenomenal Susie/Theo, and sweet Harvey, of course. Despite being a witch and spawn of Satan she stays true throughout the three seasons to herself, to the values of love, justice and generosity her aunties raised her with while also standing up fearlessly for herself when bullied or facing a challenge be it the dark lord or Lilith. In fact, every protagonist this show has not just a moving backstory but a fierce personality and this I exactly why I loved it. The directors have ensured there is not one boring moment and the villains are many and the name seems fit, CAOS has proven to be quite chilling. But the fright club can handle it all, can't it? Can't wait for season 4, curse father blackwood.
