I haven't even finished the movie yet and it is a disgrace to the book. Very disappointing. In the book the doctor was a strong respectable woman, in the movie she seemed pathetic. In the book Lydia was sweet and endearing yet in he movie they made her pathetic and a trollop who always seemed to look greasey. The movie took a beautiful loving relationship and turned it into something shameful. And by the other reviews here the movie snatched away the true happy ending. I have never been as diappointed in a movie adaption of a book. And if it was possible i would give it a negative 5 stars.
