This movie is a disastrous effort by Shankar. After deciding not to waste money I planned to watch in OTT (Netflix) today. I couldn’t sit for 1 hr and turned it off. There are movies where villains are portrayed such a way they instill fear in you or atleast hate towards them. The villains in this movie look like buffoons. Am pretty sure those who gave 5 star and 4 star review in google are either relatives to the film crew or maybe the crew themselves in fake ids. There are hundreds of great movies in Netflix. Pls watch that and don’t waste time on INDIAN 2.

Unfortunately Google starts with minimum of 1 star for a review. Else I would have given zero stars. This movie is clearly *Anti Hindu Love Jihad promotion* If you want to be a Super-chef and win a cooking competition... A Brahmin girl must... Have a Muslim boyfriend for support. Have prospective Mother in law who tells her "Doing Namaz improves her cooking". Wear Islamic dress, perform Namaz and cook meat... *Annapoorni is unadulterated promotion of "Love Jihad". Stay off !* They could have rather named the movie - Alla-poorani.

The movie is probably ok to watch once, only to find out how a movie fails. Some of the scenes are not logical at plain sight - Jagapathy babu climbing stairs, going to first floor and then using lift to go up to another floor. But in another shot, the whole building has only 2 floors. And during climax the farmers come to reap a paddy field which had just started growing. And not to mention the most crude way they kill Vanangamudi, when a simple bullet shot could have taken care of it. And before the Clara song, a guy with Vibuthi makes a funny intro about clara. Not really sure why these movie makers have to keep insulting the Hindu/Brahmin section always. In all, just another masala film with half baked shots. For those who gave 4 or 5 stars for this movie, I just got to say one thing - Dont give stars just because you love farmers. This is a movie and a movie has to be taken in a right way. There are numerous movies on farmers and their roles in the society and were well taken too. This movie is a big failure. I gave one star only because google doesnt allow review without a star.
