It's good, but it's not great. And for a series who's tagline is "be greater", this entry is not greater than it's predecessors. It took until I was around 80% of the way through the story for me to finally enjoy playing. It's lucky that the whole thing is only around 20 hours long.

Amazing story, lackluster gameplay

So much to do in the game. There is an interesting main story that continues at the player's choosing, although it doesn't last very long. Then an epilogue that is even shorter, but still just as charming. 12 "Lifes" to go through. Many side quests.any characters to interact with. Charming art style. But it does suffer from being on the 3DS, with somewhat blocky models (Not too bad). Countless hours worth of gameplay. 10/10 would recommend. Wish it would be ported to the Switch or have the sequel finished.

It's a full remake of the OG Metroid game on the gba. Which is amazing. The game is fun to speedrun and has an awesome final boss, which I won't spoil. Definitely worth getting. However the game at times does tell you where to go. Fortunately, it doesn't say how to get there. And it's perfect for little bite-size adventures.
