Fantastic game with a brilliant story and beautiful world, the scale of everything really is incredible and you’ll find it hard to get bored with so much to do! Like The Witcher 3 before it, Cyberpunk 2077 is a game primarily focused on story telling and developing emotional attachments to the characters in the game which are fantastically voice acted and all have unique and alluring side missions to go with them. By the time you complete the main story, you’ll still find yourself discovering locations and features that you never realised existed, Cyberpunk goes above and beyond to create a mesmerising sense of exploration and discovery and does not lack in reminding you of your place as a mercenary in a living and breathing Night City. However, aside from the positives it is impossible for me to not mention the sheer amount of issues, to put it simply, on consoles the game is not finished or ready, as of launch the game is a buggy mess which looks graphically worse than many xbox 360 games and comparable to how Ark looks on the Xbox One, so yeah not so good. I have been playing Cyberpunk on the Xbox One, and have experienced an infuriating amount of crashes and bugs which have meant i have had to restart my game over and over again to replay from my last save, which is a massive issue and one which is really irritating. If you are playing on a powerful PC then these issues will most likely be lessened however not negated fully. Overall the issues stated will hopefully be fixed in future updates and thus the game will be almost perfect and when it is in that state i will absolutely recommend Cyberpunk 2077 and welcome it as another brilliant contribution from CDPR to the game’s industry and one which will hopefully be continuously updated to become a gold standard of the expectation for future video games.
