This is honestly one of the best films I have ever seen. A much more modern interpretation of the Joker, showing the worst case scenario if you ignore poor people. Radicalisation is a big theme in this version, poor people feel as if the only way they can attract attention for their problems to politicians is through violence. Which is just brilliant because that is going on right now, the film doesn't sugarcoat the imbalance of power between politicians and the public in democracy. The cinematic shots are captivating, you feel sympathy for the bad guy and the influence of perspective is huge part of the film. Word of warning: don't take a mentally ill individual off their medication!!
