It was a really good movie in my opinion. For those who are a fan of Agatha Christie it is a must watch. The plot is a cross between “Murder on the Oriental Express” and “And Then There Were None”. The last scene of the movie is them riding away on a train called the “Orient Express”
Aniston’s and Sandler’s characters play on traditional marriage issues, which is a little stereotypical. They did play well off each other. They made it very believable that they were married. Although the plot was from an older book, the characters were very typical and expected. An Italian Formula One driver, who doesn’t speak English. A spoiled son of a wealthy man. An older man who marries someone who is much to young for him. A young woman who marries a man who is much to older for her for his money even though she says it was for love. I mean it’s 2019, this book is 50 years old. Updating the characters would not be a horrible idea. I understand that they wanted to keep it original to the book but the characters could have been changed.
It was an over all good movie.
