I generally avoid shows involving drugs and/or violence, preferring feel-good, thought-provoking and inspirational offerings - or at least something that gives me a good laugh - but, having heard rave reviews, I decided to give Breaking Bad a peek. OMG! I was hooked from the start and just HAD to watch at least three episodes a night. The characters, plots, script, actors, etc., were incredible! Almost everything I watch these days is annoyingly predictable and/or totally implausible to me - probably due to my ASD which let's me see what's coming long before most folk have even got an inkling - so it's very rare for me to find something that doesn't bore or agitate me. The soundtrack is brilliant, although I'm sure the guitar music (end of (Season 4, Episode 13) is a mash up of Rodrigo y Gabriella's Diablo Rojo and not an original by the Sweet Tooths.
I watched the final episode last night and I'm already suffering serious withdrawal symptoms. Guess I'll just have to watch it all over again.
