A pastiche of every notable sci-fi movie of the last 30 year and the least successful effort I've ever seen. The red slicker raincoat on the child: done before. The weak-minded crew hysterically going off on their own to hunt down Thane: preposterous. Instantaneous radio communication across tens of millions of miles: defies all laws of physics. A weak show with no real plot yet...and I'm only through four episodes...
