Applauds to Doug Lyman for not trying to redo the Patrick Swayze version. Jake Gyllenhaal always produces and Connor McGregor was the sprinkles on top. Looking forward to a sequel. However, lets call it what it is.. Dalton .

Outstandingly entertaining !!!

Wow, just finished watching Damsel and can honestly say I don’t remember suffering thru a worst movie.

I kept waiting for the movie to give me something to sink my teeth into. It’s not that I hated the movie as much as I was disappointed. I’m not even sure what is was about except marital issues. With the occasional ghostly footsteps and unlocking of doors (not sure why that was even scripted in) the movie lacked real substance. And then the credits rolled.

There was nothing creatively redeeming about this movie. Not even in originality. The writer took a real life tragedy and made what I felt was a parody and not even a good parody at that. And don’t get me started on the music. Very, no, hugely disappointing.

I thought it was a very engaging, suspenseful series with just enough darkness and intermittent humor to keep audiences entertained. At only 2 seasons and 16 episode’s it did exactly what it needed to do without me rolling my eyes waiting for it to end. Or better yet, reaching for my phone to read the ending. I’m not going to write a long detailed analysis of every character and plot because that would be a bore. If you can get past the fact that it is subtitled, I strongly recommend this series.

My opinion is there was nothing tragic, sad nor comedic about this film. I only continued to watch its entirety with the hopes it would redeem itself before the final credits. While I am a huge fan of the actors in this film, the only performance worth mention is the one given by Barry Keoghan.

Nope. You can explain it away all you want. This movie had no substance. I googled it after finishing the movie just to understand what the heck it was I just watched. My advice; do not waste your time.

At one point I forgot I was watching this movie and went in to the kitchen to clean it. Don’t waste your time.
