It was a good movie. I did enjoy the characters. But I have to say my confusion goes in what kind of world is oz? I thought it was magical but nothing magical happened in it except when it pertained to the witches. What were they going to school for? Was it high school? College? I couldn't get Potter out of my head. Also, why didn't they play on her love for animals. Maybe she could have had a talking squirrel friend or something who was silenced, that way there's more depth to her character, where she'd want to stick up for animals, and we can see where she would turn evil. Have her go through trying to save an animal in additional the professor instead of visions which aren't concrete. Basically, give her a goal! Otherwise, she doesn't have an evil bone in her. Weird. Overall, the movie is good. It's a huge production. Just a few more tweaking needed for me. Maybe the 2nd half has more action.

I’m a writer, so I was really excited in watching episodes 1 - 3. They did it right, started the scene with action and introduced the characters and then slowly their background of what happened to their father and then there’s more mystery. Very exciting... until it started dragging, more and more into the 2 teenager’s stories. They started becoming less and less interesting. I didn’t want to learn anymore and certainly didn’t want to go in her head. And why isn’t the boy in elementary school? My biggest problem is that I need more information to keep going, don’t prolong the mystery forever with nonsense, each kid with their own group. Once or twice is enough, but it drags. Also the mother is starting to just be weird and pointless. Doesn’t mean I won’t watch it again. I like the story, I like the characters. It definitely unique and intriguing. It needs to move faster.
