I watch the Today show every morning. Love it, love all them. However, today something really bothered me. Today is International Day of the Girl; Hoda, Savanna & Jenna are all interviewing these amazing young women with incredible stories to share, for the world to learn from and yet all three have referred to each other and these young women as “guys”. As in “Hi guys”. Several times . Very short sighted, in my opinion. Especially considering these young women come from places where women are considered inferior. So, ladies, pay attention and choose your words thoughtfully.
