I really enjoyed this movie and I found the acting and plot to be first rate. I have no idea why anyone would give this movie a low rating other than the fact that some people may prefer a movie with a lot more action and violence. This is movie that makes you think and cheer for the young lad to makes it back home safely. It deserves much better grades than many other people have rated it

I usually enjoy most super hero movies but this one is garbage. Incredibly stupid movie and it was way over the top. I couldn't finish watching it but it did provide one useful purpose: never believe or trust Movie critic ratings. 62% at Rotten Tomatoes?? LOL i don't think so.

Enjoyable movie, excellent special effects, good action and the acting is very good. However i was annoyed by the insistence on calling Wakanda 'the most powerful nation in the world". Even in the extreme fantasy world of superhero fiction movie making, I find this kind of stuff totally nonsensical and way over the top when we are dealing with our current timeline as opposed to sometime in the distant future. I realize the movie is a complete work of fiction but some of us actually like a dose of reality when we portray events supposedly happening in our own present lifetime. Just my 2 cents.

I loved all the original Toy Story movies until this one. The previous ones were fun and humorous. Unfortunately someone came up with the bone headed idea of making the latest Toy Story Buzz Lightyear film version into a serious movie and trying to send a "politically correct" message in a movie that's supposed to be for kids (or adults who still like to feel like kids on occasion). How annoying. I was hoping to have a relaxing 2 hours filled with fun and replete with corny but still funny jokes. Instead we get this dribble. I'm not interested in some film producer trying to tell me his version of what's morally right and wrong when I'm watching a Toy Story movie. Plus I don't think this movie suitable for younger children unless this is supposed to be a way of indoctrinating younger children into learning that it's OK to be a lesbian or LGBTQ (which is a ridiculous acronym in my mind but that's beside the point). Why are we trying to shove this concept down a young child's throat? They have plenty of time to learn about sexuality when they get older. The entire time aging thru space concept is also not something most children are aware of and it feels completely misplaced in a Toy Story movie franchise. On another very different note, I am starting to realize how often I disagree with Rotten Tomatoes or various film critics. This is a highly rated movie. I can think of several other highly rated movies that I didn't particularly like and vice versa. I can think of several movies which I enjoyed but were panned by critics. This leads me to posing a serious question. Is there any career that is more useless than becoming a film critic? Some people actually get paid to give an opinion on movies yet many of us often disagree with that opinion, so what's the point? I am very well educated but these people are supposed to know more than we do? Somehow I find that hard to believe.

This movie might work for people or families with young kids who don't care about good acting and believable plot lines but for the average adult, it's ultra corny and a colossal waste of time. Hate to say this about kids but the acting was terrible, especially by the girl acting in the main role. It was so bad I couldn't finish watching it and I have no idea how Rotten Tomatoes gave it 81% rating. Way off.

Good acting, interesting theme but overall this movie feels much too disjointed and discombobulated. I suspect many people - especially the under 30 age group - will like it but personally, I find it disappointing. Its a movie that had potential but in the end, its great big mess. To each their own but its not my cup of tea.
