I will love the original trilogy until the day I die. They were ground-breaking, philosophical and rewrote how fight sequences are done in Hollywood films. The Matrix trilogy (especially the original film) will stand the test of time and will become a modern day classic. At least that is what I believe. The Matrix Resurrections however offered nothing ground-breaking, nothing special, nothing new to offer the fans of the originals, like myself. Revolutions rounded things off nicely, there was no need for another chapter. Resurrections was less of a Matrix movie, and instead was just a movie.
