The science involved mainly pseudoscience and pop-psychology which made it unrealistic and tacky. My 10 year old son could easily define all the most scientific terms they used. There were many harmful messages about about biological predispositions of the genders, not even acknowledging the role of social conditioning on neurochemistry and behaviour. It was gross and cringey. Would not recommend to anyone.

An absolutely wonderful and inspiring book, I recommend everyone read it at least once.
