As no one is pointing it out, I thought I would. A young girl who's carrying a little weight eats an apple and loses weight and she automatically becomes the beautifulist girl in the kingdom. So now we are teaching kids that being skinny makes you beautiful. Ridiculous

I'm shocked with all the bad reviews it has received. I really enjoyed it. Great story line, filled with intense moments. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen from start to finish.

It's a long film to watch when nothing major happens. The trailer made it sound alot more interesting then it actually was. I wouldn't want to use the word boring, but I did sit there and hoped something would happen soon and it didn't. I did like the fact that there was no alien life out there at all. It was an angle that you rarely see which was refreshing. Brad Pitts acting was superb as always, he really allowed you to feel the emotions of the character, especially the scene with his dad. All though, I did wish for the scene with his dad was longer. As this was the scene I was waiting for throughout the movie. Overall, I'm glad I've watched it but I don't feel that it's a film that you would want to watch again.
