This movie was great! I had goosebumps and felt emotional multiple times. It's one of those rare times in such movies where I didn't want Godzilla to kill off every human character. What they want to show is very interesting and riveting which makes any minor issues I personally have less noticeable and excusable, like any form of entertainment I enjoy. Also, they pulled this movie off with a much smaller budget compared to many mainstream blockbuster movies. Definitely one of or potentially the best Godzilla movie out there. Don't worry about liking it or not before watching the movie, just go see it and decide for yourself.

It's a very good action/comedy movie which is quite self aware of what it is. There is some good acting and the actors in the movie actually look the part and feel like the characters they are playing. Only issue I felt was with the ending of the climax fight. I thought that was the weakest part of the movie. The action is very good for the most part but can be improved with more clear cut fights. Overall very enjoyable and I definitely recommend it for people who like the action/comedy genre.

I wasn't sure whether I would like this movie when it started because I felt it was silly and childish. Then as the movie continued I felt like this is something that a parent can feel towards his/her child. It's a very simple story about parents and children bonding through food (Bento in this case). The creative Bento designs and graphic animations enhances the movie for sure. I felt some parts of the movie were okay but overall I liked it. Some might find it more relatable than others. The scenery and view of Hachijō-jima (a volcanic island connected to Toyko), where this movie takes place, is fantastic! Definitely give it a shot and decide for yourself if it's a movie for you.

One of the best movies that I've seen. Very Innovative and well thought out movie. Anything I say might end up spoiling it. It's better to go in blind without reading detailed reviews. I would like to see what else this director has in store. Personally, I feel it's extremely hard to one up this movie with another, of the same kind, because I find this to be a rare case where the movie just works very well. The actors suit their roles and have done a good job. I recommend it to anyone who loves cinema. Awesome stuff!
