It was a wonderful movie about a wonderful man and his incredible wife. A man who at first experience personal strife, obstacles from the political establishment of his time, and nay sayers in his personal life. The movie showed what a true gentleman and humanitarian Reagan was and the instrumental role he played in causing the Soviet Union’s ultimate demise. The opening scene was a little confusing to understand the context since it starts off in the present day and the characters are fictional. But they use these fictional characters to frame and illustrate the life and legacy of a real man in a historically accurate way. Of course the movie doesn’t highlight every political achievement and shortfall, but it focuses on Reagan’s desire to enact common sense & practical policies in a time when most Americans grew disillusioned with their own government. While the movie was a good watch, l don’t believe they needed to use the lens & perspective that John Voit’s character had to tell Reagan’s story. It kind of diluted the point the story tellers were trying to drive home. You could say it was borderline corny or cheesy. Overall, this is a fine movie and gives a well deserved homage to a true patriot we all wish were still around today. God rest your soul, Pres. Reagan.

Such an emotionally investing story that keeps you literally on the edge of your seat each episode which are practically the length of full movies. Get ready for a gut-wrenching and heartbreaking end. It almost brought me to tears. Not gonna lie though, there’s no way a bigot such as George Wallace would have been elected president if JFK lived and won re-election! That’s too outlandish! Nixon was too popular back then. Jake should’ve just let JFK die and stayed in the 60s and married Sadie. That ending gave me a big lump in my throat!

Great suspenseful, “who done it?” thriller. Jimmy Stewart makes a good revenge seeking vigilante looking to let all the skeletons out of the closet of the town he settles in. The only thing is, the little town does it’s best trying to keep those skeletons in the closet.

Love to hear those liberal tears. Just what I wanted for Christmas: a bunch of SJW’s crying over a stupid movie. Besides that, who doesn’t love Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby doing their thing at the pinnacle of their careers!?

This movie realistically shows how generation after generation of servicemen sacrifice themselves for their brothers in arms and for the love of their country, despite popular opinion. Not much respect is given to the Vietnam Vets. Unlike the WW1, WW2 and Korea vets who got parades when they came home after defeating the totalitarian, national socialist, and communist regimes, the Vietnam vets were harassed and disrespected by the media. War has never changed, just our perspective of it. People ask, what was the point of Vietnam. The point was this: America doesn’t stand for bullies. Never has, never will. I personally know people who without intervention in Vietnam would not have had the opportunity to escape to the US and live a better life.

Accurate depiction of life as an officer of the law. It truly shows the red tape and politics surrounding high profile criminal cases and how difficult the job of being in law enforcement really is. What I like is that this movie doesn’t romanticize either side of the Bonnie and Clyde story. It shows life as it is and not as we want it. Nevertheless, sometimes real life is more entrancing than legend.

This movie shows why America is the greatest country on Earth! This movie accurately depicts the fight for achieving the American Dream of being the biggest and the personal best anyone can possibly be. Pushing yourself to the limits of greatness while still enjoying what you’re doing. This isn’t just a car movie, it’s an American love story of the pursuit of excellence in the heat of adversity!

An amazing story with flawed characters going through life trying to do what’s best for each other and move on with life. Everyone is flawed and we all go through life trying to do what’s right. We reminisce about the good old days, but remember to focus on present. Each day is what you make of it. And your life is is made up of all those little days wether you enjoy them or not. It’s awesome to see life in the 1960s. Not much has changed in our societal flaws as a country. We’re still dealing with the same problems. I’m 18 years old and hope we can bring back nostalgia, class, decency and professionalism from the 1950’s and 1960’s while eliminating the cultural flaws our society still is dealing with! Sure celebrities were flawed back then just as they are now, but they were always professional in their appearance and act.

Genuine, wholesome, hilarious, and incredibly original entertainment from a nostalgic era in American history. This is as much a part of our American culture as Shakespeare is part of England’s history. Just as wine tastes better with age, so shall this television show be cherished.
