I liked the movie but I feel like it was rushed. Like there should have been more backstory and the plot while ok was lackluster and could have definitely been darker given how the original film was. While I did enjoy the movie it just kinda fell well meh. It fell short in ways and while I understand they didn't want to just copy and paste the plot from the first film they could have done more to try and capture the tone of the original. I liked the characters but there really wasn't much emphasis on building them as characters. So I give it a 3 out of 5 it wasn't horrible but also wasn't great. Kinda left me feeling like there should have been alot more to the movie and that much was just missing or never explained.
