Awful film. We walked out. To choppy and disjointed and filled with cliche

This is an incredible film about Hollywood in the 50s great acting and solid intrigue.

Predictable and simple. Casting was bland. Juliet lewis was a good touch and the one side kick added spice. Jennifer garner cannot carry a film on her own

This film was overly glamorized. I lived in detroit in the 60s and the depiction of the black community at this time was not real. It was a constant struggle. As for the acting Jennifer was in over her head. Arthrea was a inner city black child who struggled against her family men and fame. The best scenes were the singing scenes. Arthrea was a treasure but Jennifer was not capable acting wise to bring it home. It was decent summer entertainment watch the documentary

Love love it. It schreds all conventions on "family". Lilly Tomlin is a treasure. There is a socially relevant bite in every line.

It was not a good reflection of coming of age or self discovery. Alot of whineness a waste of Michelle. The young girl was not up to the job. Never looked used or abused.

It was excellent. Both hausner and Rockwell were authentic. Again Eastwood shows the emotional side of actors as characters in a movie about human behavior .

It was Pacino at his best . Understated but authentic. Played like a true New York cop film. It was not your typical cop movie. Who are the real bad guys

It was well done and black and white made it work. Lush passion
