I don't know whether it's the actress or the writing, but the main character's voice and eccentric bordering neurotic behaviors/mannerisms are almost unwatchable.

All the contestants are skilled tailors, so unlike Tim and Heidi's morphed version of Project Runway, these artists craft all their own work; and they are, mostly amazing. Gigi is a breath of fresh air in earth already overused format and I found the show for the most part quite enjoyable. One thing that irked me was the amount of time they give the artists to fabricate some incredibly complex pieces. No matter how masterful they are, some of these things cannot be made in 7 hours...at least that's how I see it and so felt it was a bit unrealistic. My grand daughter agrees! 4/5 stars.

My grandson found it less challenging and more irritating than Shadowlands. The flying mechanic is awkward and the short, simple dungeons are, well, just "pretty dumb". Overall, a 13 year old was bored. I'd say Blizzard failed.

If you expected this to be about going to Mars you'll be disappointed. It's mostly about astronauts lives, often dysfunctional, on the ground.

Set design, costumes, make up, acting; all pretty darned impressive. Story though is a bit tough to swallow. I make myself stop trying to have it make sense and just go along for the ride. And it is a different kind of ride though not necessarily amazing. Bloom kind of carries the whole thing along on his stooped back. 6/10

This is a brilliantly conceived homage to women in the late sixties finding their power and confronting their own flaws as well as the flaws in their chauvinistic male dominated workplace. Great actors, great sixties music, extraordinary authenticity; the vibe of the time including as well, war, politics., corruption, black panthers, the weather underground, free speech, sex, drugs, and abortion are examined through the eyes of the fictional weekly magazine staff published in New York. The cast of researchers and reporters is filled with one gifted actor after another. I and my wife lived these times and felt the story was almost spot on perfect and a true recount of things at that time, I am disappointed that a show of this character and depth is cancelled before it ever really has a chance to deepen it's reach in a second season....
