Listen, the show is rough on the emotions. You will get angry, every single episode. If you cannot handle that, I say hit the back button and don't do it. Some people can, some can't, and that is okay.
The show itself is pretty great all in all. It has wonderful emotional impact, which is needed because stories like this need to have attention brought to them. These people were wrongly accused and coerced into doing something they 100% did not want to do. Justice, real justice, needs to be brought to these cases; and having this show really brings light to that and maybe there is hope somewhere out there for these individuals. I also like the fact this they show both sides, not just the defense. This way, as an individual, you can make your own conclusions about it, and not so tunnel visioned like some of these people within the show. It is cool to see a show attempt to let the audience form their own opinions, and they do a pretty decent job.
Side note: You may be wondering why these people confess if they did not do it, and I am going to use an analogy similar to the one used in season 1 episode 4. When you are on the highway and you see a police officers lights go on, everyone on the road panics. You think it is you, thinking "Oh maybe I was speeding", or "Maybe I wasn't paying attention or one of my lights are out". You immediately blame yourself, and you are looking out your mirrors, ready to pull over any second, or maybe you already started. See? Even though you were probably perfectly fine, not speeding or anything, you already begin to doubt yourself and think "Maybe it is my fault". It doesn't take much, and this show takes that analogy to the extreme cases.
