Personally, I feel like they overdid it with seasons 6 and 7. Season 5 had an amazing ending. I would've added one more thing to it and end the show there. I have to admit, I still watched seasons 6 and 7 just because I never leave a show hanging. If I were to recommend this show I definitely would. Just don't bother watching seasons 6 and 7. It'll save you time.
