This game has some beautiful character models, a fun story plot and the combat style, while taking some getting used to, is quite fun. But MK1 takes out quite a lot of content when compared with other games. So far there is no Krypt (replaced with an invasion mode instead) no online towers, no banter scenes between fighters for the most part. No arena items to use, no friendships, no babalities. Here's hoping future content will put some of that in. Also: final boss level in story mode lame 👎 Losing a star for that and nonsensical plot issues.

Resident evil 8...so much potential. So much 'meh' along the way. You seem to want to abandon the atmosphere and mystery in RE7 and go for the ridiculous in RE4. Fair enough. But you can't excuse lazy writing. It starts with 'there is clearly something going on but I can't tell you even though there is time' troup' and gets so much worst at the end. The bad guys were okay. The tall vampire lady was clearly your selling point. The doll was trying to rip off PT so much that I actually felt embarrassed for you. The fish level was okay. The one with Heisenberg was just bad (he wants to kill the main bad? Let's kill him instead!) Visual graphics, gameplay and puzzles were good. The only reason why it got a 3 Do better, Resident Evil.
