It didn't meet my expectations. The beginning was slightly shocking and gross. Rakulpreet was nothing much than an eye-candy. Her acting was below average. The huge twist was when it's revealed that Ajay and Tabu's respective roles are not divorced to each other. Another big shocker and disgust for me was when Tabu tied Rakhi on Ajay's hand pretending to be his sister!! That was downright unethical & bizarre for me even if it was meant to be a comic sequence. Finally, in the end when Tabu's daughter addressed Ayesha (Rakul's role) as 'aap' after 'by mistake' addressing her as 'tum', as she's going to be future wife to Devgan's role (Tabu having decided to divorce him by then), this was a bit too weird for me as Ayesha was just his daughter's age.
According to me, it would have been more acceptable if Ajay would've gone back to Tabu forever in the end keeping Ayesha as just a beautiful memory or as a well-wisher-cum-good friend, or, if Ajay had re-united with his wife forever and Ayesha getting committed or hitched with Devgan's son, or else, just for the reason of Ayesha being a future wife to Devgan's character, if instead of Ishita's (Devgan's role's daughter) addressing her as 'aap', she had bonded with her in a friendly sisterly way, it would have been much much better.
Rest, everything was good in the film. Jimmy Shergill was good and proved that he matured in his acting with age. Even the music was overall good. Last but not the least, Javed Jeffrey was the best thing in the movie.
