Were you someone like me who thought women canot perform very rigorous, dangerous and difficult war tasks under every difficult conditions such as the extreme cold of a long, Russian winter against a ruthless, well organized, overpowering enemy force, you have to read this book. Unfortunately, the fantastic heroines that this book introduces were and are not adequately celebrated worldwide for their contribution to the defeat of Nazi Germany. Telling the story of these women is very inspiring and should be included in any endeavor, educational or otherwise, that claims to inform women and men as to the capabilities of women and lies regarding their weaknesses. Why Russia or US hasn't made a movie of this sensational story is very puzzling.
