It took many attempts for me to watch this movie. Finally I got through 58 minutes but couldn’t go any further. To know this was written and directed by a woman when it is so misogynistic and insulting. The poor bride when her awful coke head friends belittle her behind her back, furthering a stereotype that woman have to compete with each other, she can’t just be happy for her. The man calls her the C word while having s*x with her right after he says that she “ just wants someone to put her in her place” I had to turn it off when Adam Scott’s character explains to this girl he couldn’t come to her appointment because it was too sad for him! Then he plays her the mix tapes he made when she was there alone getting aborted like. Oh it was so sad for me. Seems like the moral and resolve of the situation was obtaining some sort of male validation. Incredibly insulting towards women and all people in general. The fat shaming in this movie will make you sick. I could not give this a zero rating so I give it a one.
