Our family got our first black and white TV in 1950, and although I have never been a really big TV watcher over the intervening 70 years, I have had a few shows that I have enjoyed. Additionally, I am not extremely religious, although I was raised, and still claim to be a Christian.
This series has been my all time favorite as far back as I can remember. The character and persona of this cast of characters as they interacted with each other gives you hope and optimism about the decency that could still be present in the human race.
I admit that I was really disappointed when I saw that tonight's 2 hour program was going to be the series finale. As I watched the program progress, knowing that this was the end, I also admit that I became a little emotional, knowing that. There was so much to learn from the loving care shown for other people needing a helping hand.
I certainly hope that everyone involved with the show is soon displaying their talents on other programs. God Friended Me, regretfully may be gone, but I have faith that there will be others that will be as warm and fulfilling.
