Strange New Worlds is an interesting take on the Star Trek series which is part prequel part individual adventure episodes. The adventures are good and they try to fill in the back story.

This version of Shaft updates him to the current, is more comedic, and stitches some threads of the original Shaft. I found it funny, it moves well with not much downtime, lots of action, and some family twists. If you are a Samuel L. Jackson fan, this will be one of his classic movies.
